The Main Bedroom
The master bedroom has an island bed that is king in length, but double in width. (ie: 2000mm long but 1400mm wide) This longer bed provides comfort, yet still allows for a 500mm wide walk-way each side.
There is nothing more frustrating than the bed setups in caravans where the only real way to access the rear cupboards is by sitting on the bed and shuffling up the side. The other big downside is trying to make the damn bed. Our bedroom make-over allows us to easily walk up the side to the head of the bed and access the bedside cupboards with ease. This also permits better access to the under-bed storage areas.
There are 2 full-length builtin ward-robes, one each side, with both hanging and drawer/shelf space. In addition each side of the bed there is a bedside cabinet with drawers, and additional cupboard space above them each side.
In all, with the bedroom door closed, there is a standing area for dressing that is 2.4m wide by 800mm deep, so there is plenty of room for changing. Cap that with a full-length mirror, towel racks and clothes hooks for jackets and hats and the bedroom is a winner.
The other important feature is the large full depth panoramic windows each side have sliding drapes that can be opened or closed while laying in the bed. This provides the opportunity to experience the landscape in more isolated camps.
